Meet the team

Jane has three decades of experience with horses and is a well known show rider, having competed at National level since a child.
Jane graduated with a BA Honours from Queens University before completing her Post-Graduate Certificate in Education. Jane has taught in an All-Ability Secondary school since 2004, working with students with a range of social, emotional and learning needs. As a Head of Year she is well aware of, and adept at dealing with, the range of issues which young people face.
In 2014 Jane travelled to Australia and witnessed first hand the transforming power of EAL. In 2015, during a career break, Jane trained as an Equine Assisted Learning facilitator at the renowned Festina Lente in Co Wicklow where she graduated with a Distinction and opened Glenview Farm in 2017.
Jane’s passion isn’t just for horses but partnering with them to help young people who struggle with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and her desire to help develop young people’s potential is evident.
Jane additionally is an accredited Level 6 Life and Workplace coach and holds a certificate in Equine Welfare Management, as well as being a qualified first-aider.
Jane says, ‘I love that I have been able to pursue a God-inspired dream at a farm I was fortunate enough to inherit, where my desire was never to be just a riding centre but a safe space where young people feel cared for and encouraged, where laughter abounds and hard work and perseverance is valued’
Kim has been riding since she was 4 years old and has a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Kim is a British Horse Society accredited riding instructor and has competed in various disciplines from show jumping to dressage. In her spare time when she isn’t teaching she enjoys show jumping, Showing, Dressage, forest rides and gallops along the beach.
Kim’s bubbly personality and ability to connect with people is her particular strength, as well as her obvious knowledge.
Kim says, ‘I am truly grateful to be part of the team at Glenview - it not only gives me the chance to pass on all the wonderful knowledge I have been lucky to gather on the equestrian circuit but it gives me a chance to give back to clients all the pleasure and time that was once given to me. It’s wonderful to be in a set up where professionalism and creativity shine through and where there are smiles galore.’
Dianne primarily takes our therapeutic sessions; working with children and adults with autism, learning difficulties and sensory impairment. She also teaches children’s beginner riding lessons.
Dianne says, ‘I love the children and clients I get to meet and work with and just love the fun we have. It’s so rewarding to see progress and watch confidence grow. Glenview is a special place for a lot of people and I’m thankful I get to be a part of it.’

Equine Partners

Pudgey is 15 and is the sweetest pony in the world; if there was a perfect pony, it would be Pudgey. He is kind, gentle and enjoys his work.
Moghul is a 6 year old with quite the personality. He is the smallest pony at the farm but somehow manages to cause the most trouble. He is mischievous and playful and loves dressing up on pony play dates! Equally he loves to eat and is on a permanent diet!
Rosie is just a super all-rounder. She is definitely the boss mare and doesn’t take any nonsense from the others; she does a great job at keeping everyone else in line.
Star is a timid 11hh who loves the company of other ponies and hates to be by himself.
Monty and Duke
Monty and Duke might look like one, but they have very different personalities. Duke is quiet and steady and loves therapeutic riding. Monty on the other hand is a baby and isn’t quite sure at times what she should be doing or where she should be going. They make a great team.
Misty is a 13hh pony who loves to jump but really doesn’t like coming in out of the field. Sometime we call her our unicorn pony as she has the most beautiful long, flowing, thick mane
